Yes free throw shooting was awful but unfortunately becoming not so striking. Williams hustle and gritty play there as always. Striking was:
1 Freeman's matador D. His guy got by him whenever he desired causing others to help leading to dish off dunks. After his first ahead of the pack dunk, he just made swipes for the ball and moved towards a possible fast break. Can't believe Coach will like what he sees on film there.
2 The notion that Thiam is a three point or any type of solid shooter. Yes he LIKES to shoot 3's but there is no evidence from his game play that he is good at it. His stroke doesn't lead to a conclusion that success is just around the bend either. Like his better D of late and length on D. Can see how with a year under his belt and some muscle he will be better. But shooting this same way doesn't seem to be something that should stay "as is".
