Is there still the concern with eligibility / qualifying ?

The program doesn't need a guy with fancy dribbles 25 feet from the basket. The entertaining I want to see is making the extra pass, getting stops on D, and getting 51%+ of 50/50 balls. The last thing this team and program needs are individuals. Now if he can penetrate and kick for an open 3......
My favorite Scarlet Knight of all time is Marquis Webb so you can see my basketball tastes are a bit odd.

Its my understanding Sanders has not yet been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Accordingly, if that is accurate there absolutely are questions regarding his eligibility. As someone who has attended multiple high schools at multiple times that is frequently a situation that results in delays by the Clearinghouse. I have also not seen or heard anything definitive whether he has taken or achieved an acceptable SAT score.

Got it - its all good, nothing to worry about.Originally posted by NJ4life:
You can't clear the clearinghouse if you are still in HS. You would
hope he had his previous schools send in official transcripts to ensure
the process is completed quickly once he receives his final
transcripts. I'm sure he did not mean to get you guys all excited.
Aside from that, what do you think?Originally posted by RU82:
Years of experience watching highlight reels of HS hoops stars tells me that the big takeaway here is Corey isn't a very good passer/distributor, and not a particularly good shooter.
and what does that mean?Originally posted by FELONIOUSMONK:
Thanks Slate. Sometimes the board gets a little too white and forgets that it is still a game not an accounting class...
They don't want to watch anything that might cloud their judgment. LOL.Originally posted by MadRU:
Here is the video I linked a while ago with Corey training.
Anyone that believes he is not coachable or cannot shoot should watch. And this is not just shooting around in a gym, this is fatigue basketball training.
From all the videos I have seen of Corey, he can dribble, pass, shoot, and is very athletic. I can do without the "flare", lets see how he does at the next level before we decide he can't do this or that.
I would like to know your sources. Because my sources say he's going to be here, and if you want because one of those sources is a mod on the premium site I'll have him post on this thread.Originally posted by Bdodger2:

I know you only get part of the picture in these videos, I admit Seagears HS vids had me very hopeful. But the training video is telling. He is a hard worker, wants to be the best he can be, and listens.Originally posted by RUforJERSEY:
