A little late yes...
The Good:
The Good:
- Zero--Miller had a whale of a game and was ALWAYS open. Too bad the seam route in the first half was missed.
- KM-Had a great first half. Appreciate him the last few games we have him.
- Pierce---Doing work well
- AK--Had a good game. Locks on a little much, but a definite upgrade and does enough to win. No reason he cant take a step next year.
- TEs. Really like the TE blocking. Knight and day from early season when 4th downs kept getting blown up, a lot from back side TE failures.
- 3rd qrtr punt block attempt. Great scheme and plan and if Black lays out instead of just reaching its a clear block and a one score game. Love to see that almost every time attempted as we need all the bigh plays from wherever.
- Dremel-Nice TD and him AND Miller at same time has helped and should have always been. Note he didnt go down but got into the end zone.
- D as a whole.
- DC Cant not say LBs were not again exploited by the OC just as Wisky and most notably UCLA did. Some kinda different scheme or look...anything was needed.
- Blitzing---On the time we did, and in UCLA and Wisky, the blitzers don't even appear to want to get home. They engage blockers or pull up if they think a pass can get off.-even thought the blitz can force a bad pass even if not getting home. Very un GS like.
- Not returning punts or kicks till game over.
- Too many injuries.
- KC calling the same plays and being so obvious (enough of qb rand rb run to line faking like pass play just to hand off) Motion!
- Too many more topics
- Healthy ish KM running wild
- Strong back and used
- Dremel and Miller together as hard to defend both in short pass game.
- A punt block
- LBs not being horribly out of position
- Tackling better Minn will try to run all over and need to tackle
- More Motion in O
- If a play works dont keep calling it till it blows up
- TE blocking to spring KM and perhaps a pass or two
- A close hard fought W
