Early lines has USC favored by 1 or 1.5. I would think we will end up a small favorite, but am a little surprised that we are underdogs at this time.

Best of Luck,

While I do not care at all about betting lines ... that is a mystery. Look, RU could well lose, of course.

BUT ... USC has lost 8 of its last 10 games - 5 of those 8 by 10 points or more. Their only 2 wins were against the 2 worst teams in the Big 10: PSU and Washington - both at home.

USC did beat Michigan St at home, and Illinois on the road ... but Illinois and Nebraska are their only road or neutral wins all season against a P5 team, and that was 12-13 games ago.

Of course, RU is not that good, we all know ... but they already beat USC once, and while they have struggled, they have won 3 of 5 and have been 7-8 in the last 15 games ... USC is 5-10 in its last 15 games.

We shall see tomorrow, because of course the betting line and the stuff I just laid out above are all meaningless.

I like us against teams without a dominant post. USC seemed to have an entire team of 6'6" guys. We beat them by ten even though they shot 47% from 3. But Dylan was brilliant. Who knows what'll happen.

Barttorvik has this as USC -1 too.

Not sure how his analytics work though in terms of "recency".

They finished the season 1-6, with a lone win at home to Washington.

Agree. Would have had RU -1.5.

Not a gambler but this is a bet I'd take. A 15 over 11? And yes I know it's more than that. Hard to sign up when out of state but I will try.

I asked Ken Pomeroy once about recency and he said his numbers don't weigh anything different from Nov to early March. Not sure about Bartt

Tough to handicap how many players on each team are currently in NIL talks with other schools.

Bart does factor in more recent games (past 40 days) more strongly…so that’s a difference between the two. Another difference is that Bart tries to isolate garbage time and remove it, while Ken treats it all the same.

Rutgers should be a slight favorite on a neutral court after already defeating USC,Both teams have major flaws so the hot team in the last five minutes will likely win.The lack of scoring from Bailey in recent games will put added pressure on Harper to score at least 25 points.

I see it as a toss up. Cannot trust our defense so we will need to out score them. USC has some high level scorers. We have Dylan and Ace. If the freshman duo is cooking, we should be in good shape. Let's start a magical run!

They are not playing like it's a toss up. Need to catch some fire before this game is lost in the first half.
