Very disappointing, but not totally unexpected after the gut wrenching loss at MSG. First time all year we simply did not compete. Saddest part is that it was the only conference game all year that we were actually favored to win.

Pike said in the Wisconsin post game that we play 20s and 30s min games. Wisconsin was about a 35 he said. What he meant was we fight hard and then fall apart at the end. Well tonight was a 33. except it was reversed. We went down 26-6 after 7 mins and ended up losing by that same margin. What a shame. If they came out to play from the start who knows what could have been. And we played even with Iowa for the final 33 mins even with Dadika as our PG, Batie getting mins (although Iowa put in walkons in the final 5 mins also), and them at one point being 7/9 from 3. So. Not sure what to make of this except we need to put together 40 mins and tonight if we had we would have been right in it, just like the rest.
That's really what the sad part is. Despite our talent, despite our poor shooting, 3pt shooting, FT shooting, turnovers ... we STILL have a coaching staff and team that if they put together a full 40 minutes they can win any game. We saw that with Nebraska. With Stony Brook. We saw glimpses of what could have been @SHU, @UMD, Wisconsin @msg. We can do it. But we have to find a way to stay focused/energized for that full 40 mins. Energy from all 5 players on the court, for the full 40 mins.
