Way too early B1G projections for next year

The big ten is MUCH tougher to climb from #14 to #10 than it was to climb from #16 to #11 in the Big East

I think Maryland will really miss Dez Wells .

I think Indiana will be very good next year-----maybe Top 10 .

Michigan State should be #1, and Indiana And Minnesota should be higher I think.

Curious how you would justify us not being projected last?

I think Section114 was being sarcastic as its not a stretch to select a team that finished 14th place (last) while losing their last 15 conf games in a row in one season to do it again in the next season.

Two conference wins next year. We will beat some 2nd-tier team at home and pull one unexpected win out of our butts as usual.

Barring any off-season injuries, Maryland will be a consensus preseason top-5 team and should be the pick to win the league. Michigan State returns some good players and add some good recruits, but even without Damion Lee (who could transfer to the Terps), I think Maryland has more talent.

Indiana is a wild card to me. I could see then starting the season anywhere between #10 to #15, but I have no idea how they'll finish based on Crean's track record.

Rick Pitino continues to disappoint Gopher fans. I'm curious as to what Northwestern will do. They might surprise some folks.

1. Maryland
2. Michigan State
3. Indiana
4. Wisconsin
5. Michigan
6. Ohio State
7. Illinois
8. Purdue
9. Northwestern
10. Iowa
11. Penn State
12. Minnesota
13. Nebraska
14. Rutgers

multiple schools losing multiple players. Have to think the league will be down this year with a lot of schools reloading. I think its going to be very top heavy. It might be a year when its tough to get that 7th bid.

Indiana and Minnesota both seem to be disappointed in their current coaches. I think with MSU's recent 5 star addition as of today, they will be pre-season top 10 and win the big ten. Also with decker leaving Wisconsin, it will be tough for them to stay in the top 3rd.

Only reason I don't have Maryland so high is because of the poor ball handling I witnessed in the NCAA tourney and Izzo doing so much with so little this year.
