...which is good for the recruits to see. We need to hold the class together and possibly improve it. Gio was a good fit today. Wish he hadn't gotten injured, but that's part of the game and we still almost won after going down by 18.

Finally have a better idea of Mehringer's offense. Like it a lot more today than yesterday.
Now the recruits don't have to guess as much. It helps to have receivers running routes and getting the ball, as well as blocking schemes, on film so the guys can see what it will really look like.

And the D. We have so much youth on this team, and they've been rotating in and out and into different positions due to injuries. Once we have a core of juniors and seniors anchoring things, I like what we might be able to do. The offense was fun to watch, and I think that's because they were good and not merely because I've/we've been starved for offense for so long.
