Expecting warm (highs in the low 80s after morning lows around 60F) and dry conditions with comfortable humidity for gameday. We're a week out, where uncertainty is usually pretty high, but in the current setup with a strong cool front coming through by Thursday, putting high pressure in control for several days after that, uncertainty is much lower than usual. Let's hope the forecast holds up - certainly not a given this far out. Most importantly let's hope we win - will be my first away game in about 4 years.

Thursday into Saturday...
The cooler air aloft will be lagging the aforementioned cold front
but a secondary shortwave rounding the base of H5 trough will help
deliver a reinforcing shot of cooler air on Thursday into Thursday putting
night. In fact, some of the cooler guidance have 925mb temps falling
below 10C by Friday morning! Friday looks to be the coolest day of
the forecast period with a cool dry northerly flow so highs will
generally be in the 70s. Friday night should feature widespread 50s
with high pressure overhead. Then the low level flow turns southwest
for Saturday but with a mean H5 trough aloft, Saturday highs should
top out in the low to mid 80s but with comfortable humidity. For
reference, typical highs for the first week of September are in the
mid 70s to near 80.
