Spencer Lee was tossed around by Matt Ramos early on. Ramos had a 6 pt throw and an 8-1 lead until Lee woke up and took over the match with a fall in the first period.

Spencer is a true generational talent.. never see someone so dominant on top and can turn guys so effortlessly.. only person that can beat Spencer is Spencer at this point..

You are probably right at this point. He needed to shake off the rust but it was odd to see him get thrown to his back quite easily. Hopefully his surgically repaired knees don't hold him back. Oh how I wished the healthy Suriano wrestled him last year. He was the force who could beat Lee and they had a nice history against each other.

Rivera knocked off Lee I think 3x, just never got a crack at him at NCAAs

  • Lee has just five losses in his entire collegiate career — two to Big Ten champion Sebastian Rivera, one to All-American Nick Piccininni, one to NCAA champion Nathan Tomasello and one to All-American Ronnie Bresser — but he has not lost a college wrestling match since March 9, 2019, in sudden victory.
Pretty Amazing he was down 8-1 in 1st period.
