it's truly sickening to think we are playing for bowl qualification trying to get to 5-7.
Could be because Caleb Rowe and Perry Hills are game time decisions for QB and Likely may be out.
Capital L or small l? Likely is their best guy on defense, offense, and special teams. He's like a combo of our Grant and Hicks!
Rutgers has a chance if they play and a much greater chance if they don't. Hills would give RU fits imo. If neither can go UMd will be going with one of 2 green QB. I could see this ending 3 points either way.
The fact we have fan base getting giddy over the possibility of beating a really really bad MD team and going 5-7 and getting a bowl bid through a loop hole provision is just sad.
This is now our standard of great success, and if we do beat MD and get a bowl were going to have half this board clamoring how great Flood was this season. It me makes embarrassed to tell people I am RU fan, no wonder why we are a national laughing stock.
It's funny I live outside of NJ and when I tell people I root for RU I get "Isn't that where all those kids got arrested?"....I never thought RU would ever have that reputation, but here inside the RU universe theres always excuses for Flood and his team.
All the more reason to keep Flood. And we should extend his contract (/sarcasm)

And always remember -- Rutgers and Maryland are RIVALS. It has been so designated by the Big Ten Conference. So where's all the excitement about playing our RIVAL?
If we were both sitting with 1 or 2 losses and playing for something, this game would mean something. Our proximity to each other would have this as a rivalry if we were both good. It just takes time.
Good or bad, I would rather beat Maryland than lose to them, don't really care if their record is 2-9 or 9-2. Same goes for PSU.
Somehow I get the feeling that Maryland is gonna turn it in like USF 2 years ago.

Who am I ? I am a Rutgers alum who wants better for my alma mater, and believes that it deserves better. I am disappointed that our administration and coach has turned our school in a national embarrassment and laughing stock. But, go ahead bury your head in the ground and think everything is fine. Enjoy the 5-7 bowl, while our school gets smacked with another scandal when the investigation comes out, but its all gravy its not Flood's fault.

Your post was inappropriate in the context of the thread. It had nothing to do with what was being discussed (Hijacking). You came in and attacked others for having the audacity to discuss a football game.
My only anger issue is with people like you who think they have the right to tell people like me what we can talk about when we're keeping within the OP's original theme. If we were discussing Flood's future your post would still be harsh but appropriate. I assume with your Rutgers degree, you're bright enough to understand the difference.

I could be very wrong but I think the game will come down to who runs the ball better. Neither team is a juggernaut passing the ball and the weather may make it even more difficult. It's why Hills worries me. He gives them an extra weapon.
This the most perfect example of a knucklehead post. It is all about him. He doesen't even realize that his post is all about his own hunger for a sense of glory, for which he depends on Rutgers football, of all things.

Whatever man, if you got ALL that from my one line post of "Flood great coach or greatest coach" then, I don't know what to tell you. There no "attacks" in there, no told you what you can discuss or what you can't, nothing was directed at you, your drawing your own interpretations from a stupid one line joke on a message board and launched a personal attack.
