It's usually a bad thing when the owner(CEO) gets involved in personnel decisions and is dysfunctional to work for. I'm a Giants fan and they were pretty dysfunctional until Pete Rozelle forced George Young on the Mara brothers in 79'. I don't think they're going to be good again on a regular basis as long as York is their CEO. DeBartolo Jr. knew to get out of the way and let the football guys run the show this kid thinks he knows more than everybody.

Sounds like Davis doesn't want to play for the 49ers and if their having trouble unloading Kaepernick for agood price, adding Davis might be what SF needs to do and Denver might be ready to deal that way.
