I am F'ing thrilled the we landed two bonafide recruits in the last two days.

Mathis being rated 4 stars is a dream come true on a lot of levels ....not just the talent that he brings
when he suits up (i.e. public perception, sphere of influence with other 4-5 star talent etc.).

The question is: when did the 0-5 star system come into play? How many stars would Sellers have received (I'm guessing 5). Dabney (4?). Jordan (3-4?). Bailey (3?). Copeland (3?).

While we may have received commitments from players perceived by the experts as "higher rated"- after our 26 year drought (Big Dance)...the Mathis Commitment ranks as a major coup.

The next step is translating the talent Pikiell is recruiting into "W's". I believe he is the man who can and will do this. Period.

Like Moses / the Israelites who traveled in the desert for 40 years (go left, go left, make another left & still another left), like the Cubs who fell into the black hole of MLB forever ( 108 years between WS victories) ....this commitment signals to alums, fans, recruits / foes that RUTGERS / the RAC is back!

Pack the RAC. Show no mercy. Don't sell your tickets or give them to the opposition. Chances Are you'll be missing a Rutgers "W". And our recruits and team deserve our full support.
