When is the last time we played good defense on the RD??

PSU torched us..
Indiana torched us..

Last year:

WSU put up 38..
Navy was ok, but we had to hold on for dear life with 2 late drives that almost tied the game..
OSU-blowout..
Nebraska-Blowout.
MSU-Blowout
Maryland scored 38 pts..

2013..in reverse order
UConn we gave up 28
UCF-41.
Louisville- We lost 24-10 But the D actually played well that night..
SMU 52 pts...
Fresno-52 pts....


So overall in the last 13 games we played one pretty good game against Teddy Bridgewater and Louisville.
And one decent game vs Navy with a defensive collapse at the end that almost cost us..

If you want Flood out this is your best argument...

How about UNC in the Bowl game? Their "incredible" offense didn't do much.

The point being that the defense has been torched at times and has been good at times. Rarely is it all one or the other for an entire game.

Bottom line, our defense is EXTREMELY young. Judging the coaching based on the performance of the defense this season is ludicrous at best.

Cincy 2012 was totally dominant!!! Munchy had no chance.

Anybody with a brain can see that next year is the year Flood will be judged. Next year he should have a decent number of returning starters, including a QB. He will have an opportunity to put together a very good season. Whether he does or not is where he should be judged.

The secondary is young I will grant you that...

Im not a flood basher at all..I have been patient with this coach.
Last year he did a god job and 3-4 this year is not terrible based on everything that has transpired.

All that said at some point you can just get continually gashed by teams on the RD.
Yes, we stood tall at the end of the Indy and Maryland games but that was after getting ripped apart..
We gave up 35 pt to Maryland in the 1st half..

The bowl game was fine, but NC had zero fans so really cant call that a rd game..

Is it too much to ask for a flood defense to play 60 minutes of good football outside of Piscataway?
