Where does our program stand?

More money has been used on the football program rather than the basketball program,right?That is the money I am talking about. Share it to another program, if the results in the football program aren't earth shattering to say the least.

But the football program also brings in the most money. They profited 2 million in our final AAC season.

Last night was great! We played #1 OSU at home at night in Rutgers Stadium game on prime time national TV. Amazing!

I agree, After a tough loss, its hard to remember this, but it was great. I didn't expect to win, but loved the opportunity to have #1 in our stadium. The pregame atmosphere was great and tailgates were a blast. Of course I hate losing, but I would much rather have a chance to beat #1 with an amazing atmosphere than play the Uconn's and Usf's of the world.

Interesting point. Easy answer though. The football program gets more funding, correct?Therefore, it shouldn't have thee types of losses. That lville loss was two years ago. The basketball program hasn't been funded for a while, and the results show. Should we expect a program without that much monetary attention to have different results? It shares it's facilities with the womans team,too.

Bottom line is that we don't really have B1G money yet. Money isn't going to be spent on any sport unless it comes from donors.

Flood is just a figure head to me. His tough guy faces are starting to get old. People say he's classy, but then his players get arrested.

I am more a basketball fan. Actually, a lot more, but I hope to see the players do well for themselves. I am probably middle of the road, but a 49-0 blowout just makes it seem like the program really is a joke right now. OSU, sure, but you can't score 3 points or get a safety?BIG won't mean much if we are at the bottom. It's time we start sharing the wealth.

Maybe a couple extra football fans come to a basketball game. Maybe more money gets thrown that way. Because as it stands right now, football is the focus, but the results are nowhere to be seen.

Mens basketball has been a embarrassment for decades and the athletic department has ignored what has been happening.Money won't be taken from football to assist mens basketball.

I don't see urban being at ohio state for more than 5-7 mkre years

I don't see harbaugh as a 10 year Michigan coach

And I think d'antonio isn't going to be at Michigan state 5 years from now. He may even go back to alma mater this off season

So our coach needs to building now for the next 5-7 years so we are ready to move up spots when these programs make their next hire

They don't always make slam dunk hires

Michigan messed up with Rrod and home

Michigan state messed up with john l smith and the coach before

Even penn state had 4 out of 5 losing seasons under joe

We need a guy that, in the Zero sum game of the big ten east. we can build a program so that when the oportunity to move comes ahead of someone we will

Otherwise we will Never have a turn

When flood is done (this year, next etc)

This hire is beyond critical

Maryland knows the, by the way

And despite Penn State's recruiting, Franklin has not proven to be a very good game day coach.
