Who left his team less talent on offense, Eddie Jordan or Kyle Flood?

I am glad people are finally realizing it
EJ did ZIP
In the off season we got NO info,,,,
during the season he did NO game coaching
he recruited what we know know are kids who look good but come crunch time go 1-5
except Mike Williams who goes 0-4
he collected his checks
not much more

Flood failed at developing players with talent, and eventually failed at recruiting them. Jordan recruited players without any B1G talent, rolled the ball out there, didn't coach them, and expected it to somehow work.

IMO, the ROI from both of them was a gross ripoff of the highest order. Both rose to positions they weren't capable of performing "Peter Principle" and their incompetence not only destroyed the respective programs but they managed to get away with seven figure compensation for their illustrious demolition.

As far as I'm concerned it's a tie. They both sucked and set us back years.

Flood left us with less but he tried harder.
So when flood was leaving his office at 5 pm every day and attended counting Crows concerts while he left gameprep to his assists without even telling them that he would be attending a concert one week before the first game..I guess EJ was leaving his office at 3 pm? I'm not sure I'd agree with the premise that flood tried hard in any way.

I'm going with Flood. At least the bball team has more potential to score. Nigel or Cory can blow up anytime. Mike Will gets hot. Freeman can be the solid guy. In football, our offense was anemic. All of the QB's that played this year were terrible passers. The only hope we had was Grant and it was a challenge to get him the ball when opposing D's knew he was the only threat. And seriously..............The coaching staff thought Laviano gave us the best chance to win.......The real question that should be asked is........Would you rather be a Rutgers fan, Knicks fan, or 49ers fan?!???!?

Why does it even matter? I think we can all agree that both programs were in terrible shape when the new coach took over.

These "tallest midget" arguments don't serve any purpose except for mindlessly deprecating a coach, who's no longer here. Move on people, the 18' recruiting class looks to be exciting. The future, and not the past, is what's important.

yes, but it's much easier to turn over a hoops roster that a football one. That said, Jordan left the cupboard completely bare
Don't try to rewrite history. When Jordan signed on he had 4 scholarship players on the roster. He left Pikiell with more talent than he started with. Do I think he did s good job? No I dont but didn't leave cupboard bare.

Flood had a decent situation and totally ruined it, Jordan came into a mess and true did little to make it better but clearly Flood is the winner here given what they started with,. He pissed away everything

The bottom line is that Rutgers lacks coaches in most sports that can successfully compete in the B1G.Football and mens basketball get the most attention because they are supposed to be the primary revenue generators.Neither program has talent on offense and that requires better recruiting against opponents that have better facilities , fan support and records of success.
