Purdue actually sucked at Wisconsin and OSU last two road games not good PSU/UM)...teams come into the RAC and seem to step it up...(and not our Defense but everything falls)..

oh well lol ..one day..

Purdue did, they escaped with a 2 point win.
not really, while we did take the bigs out of it they didn't suck that game...they scored 78pts...not like the 53 they scored at Wisky (not NW..my error)

Totals 23-51 7-21 (from 3) 25-29 (from the line)
Percentages 45.1% 33.3% 86.2%

25 rebounds (poor) but only 8 turnovers...

Purdue did not bring their A or B game vs Rutgers
maybe not the A but the stats would suggest a B or B+.

BUT, the point is they didn't lay an egg like the Wisky game or OSU look like they did today missing EVERYTHING down the stretch last 5-7 mins.

Purdue played pretty well against us. Maybe not A but solid B.

1984 I too often ask myself that question. I think what helps the better teams it the consistency and depth of their bench. When some of the top players are having an off night, the coaches can bring in someone or two that can spark the team. We don't have that depth right now for offense. Sure we have depth for defense, but that's about it. Once we have a 6th and 7th man that can come off the bench and give us excellent minutes and make baskets is when you'll see our team win more consistently and especially on the road.
