Women's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Nonconference Campaign

Need to to step up the OOC competition to be better prepared for Conference play
Princeton and Seton Hall need t be OOC opponents every year and 2 local cupcakes would do, but the other 8 games need ore than 2 major program in it .
As it stands, RU is playing 8 minor league programs and, what I consider, 4 majors

3 "majors" - only 11 opponents listed. And Virginia Tech lost a lot - both players and coach - and Marquette has a new coach as well. Princeton is always a good program, of course. The other 8 are terrible. Literally. They were all over 200 in NET and include some of the worst NET rankings.

The team’s a combined 31-64 the past three seasons. Why would anyone remotely care about OOC net rankings…

I'm not sure I get where you are coming from, but I'm going to put it differently - why would you advertise your opponents NET rankings (at least the OOC ones) when they are that terrible.

They’re not advertised anywhere? The link above is Rivals-produced content

Regardless, I’m more concerned with watching the team play well together and win some games. If a lot of those wins have to come from playing bad teams, so be it. Until we’re regularly in the bubble conversation, OOC SOS really isn’t relevant
