I grew up in Kearny, but didn't play soccer (age 5-10), then moved to Union and played on the Union soccer team. We played in Kearny (first year of Union's team) and the place was packed. Very intimidating considering our home games had just a few people. Also consider that the Kearny Football Team hardly had anyone in the stands. Kearny was and is a special place for soccer.
