Woolfolk 13 mins, Reiber 2 mins. Is this the future?

Woolfolk was a total head scratcher of a recruit when he committed. It’s pretty surprising how ready he is to compete at this level.
I thought so too at the time, but after I read more about him, I felt more optimistic about the commit. Even with that, I still thought he would redshirt this year. One of the more pleasant surprises was him being ready to contribute meaningful minutes immediately.

Dean has been passing up shots he would've taken last year. I think Pike should have gotten him 3 or 4 stress free minutes at the end of the game to hopefully build some confidence, get a few shots off, etc..

Dean needs more minutes .

Could have used his outside shot vs Seton Hall
Seton Hall was in our faces. We don’t run people off screens and there was no way he would consistently be able to get a clean shot off Seton Hall. His release is too slow to do it on his own.

Seton Hall had the blueprint of how to beat us with lesser talent. Fortunately, not many teams in the B1G are able to apply ball pressure like that.

The bench players need to score at least 15 points ,Right now Hyatt and Simpson are the best options.Woolfolk is the better option behind Cliff right now.Reiber looks hesitant in shooting the 3 pointer from the top of the key.

I feel sorry for Jalen.

He obviously is losing playing time to Simpson. I don't know what happens at practice, but in games Jalen, at times, has been better than Simpson. I feel Jalen is losing time because the staff knows Simpson is better and he needs development on the floor.

Dean is just flat out being outplayed by Woolfolk on the floor in games. Every game Pike gives Dean the 1st shot off the bench, but Woolfolk ends up "winning" the PT.
Agree with all. Also sorry for Jalen as I think he can be good.

I don't understand the "I feel sorry for" sentiment. Coach plays the best players. Period. Wanna play? As Parcells said - "If you want to play, MAKE ME play you by being better."

In the case of Dean and Miller, they've been recruited over - SIGNIFICANTLY over. They need to decide how to deal with that.

In the words of many posters on many occasions on this board - myself included - over many years, Woolfolk has a high basketball IQ.
