Max Hermes (Edison - OH) is in the semifinals of the Brecksville Invitational. He will face #17 (at 120) Jackson Blum and then potentially #3 (at 120) Marcus Blaze in the finals.

Matt Henrich (Southern - NJ) is the semifinals of the Powerade Tournament. He will face #3 (at 152) Ty Watters and then potentially #7 (at 152) Cooper Haase or #17 (at 152) Cross Wasilewski

It will be interesting to see how he fares against some good national competition.

Nini and Henrich are both in the semifinals of Escape the Rock.

Nini beat nationally ranked and PA state champ Spencer Barnhart (UPenn commit) in UTB in the quarterfinals. He will make another PA state champ and nationally ranked guy in Pierson Manville in the semis.

Henrich will face #1 seed Paul Ognissanti (Blair) in his semifinal.

Nini lost in TB2 as he gotten ridden out all period and gave up an escape in the last few seconds of the prior period.

Henrich knocked off the #1 seed from Blair in his semifinal matchup 8-1 and will move on to the finals. That’s a great win for him.

Carter Neves from Blair. He was ranked in the top 10 so it’s not a huge upset but he had a great weekend knocking off #3 and #1

Can’t say I’m not just a little happy to hear that he lost though lol.
