Was thinking about Jimmy V's incomparable ESPY speech today when I finally got to see Rutgers basketball ranked in the top 25 in 41 years. No real point to this thread other than to say it's been a long, long wait, but right now is a sweet time to be a Rutgers basketball fan. Go RU!!

I always find it weird and fascinating when religion or god are brought into sports...as if a deity cares about such (in the end) mundane and ultimately meaningless events...I guess people think he/she has a rooting interest...
