#25 in latest Coaches Poll???

The list stills says week 8, but everything else looks accurate:

One confusing item is that Stanford is now shown as "receiving votes", but isn't listed among the "dropped out" teams.

I think the coaches poll is definitely more in tune with what is going on. Even though they certainly have leanings, I think they are also a lot more astute as to what different teams are doing on the court.

This is great to see and know RU is getting recognized as a good program by one poll , though if RU keeps the ball rolling all will do so.
There is a tread on the FB board that starts out complaining about RU not being in the top 25 in any of the polls and its amazing to see the support this team is getting in that thread .
So with that in mind:

It's up now on the NBC website which would seem to confirm it.

In reality, RU is only two spots lower in the AP poll than in the coaches poll so very little difference.

Does anyone know which poll is used by ESPiN, Fox, and other sports networks when showing women's bball scores (they only show the Top 25 these days which is one reason why cracking the poll is so important)?

Yes, no let downs. The women's soccer team should talk to the basketball team about not defeating Illinois when on paper it appeared that it would be easy to win over one of the lower echelon teams in the league. It happened two years in a row and probably kept them from winning the league title at least one of those times.
