He served at Rutgers under Dick McCormick -- 2005 to 2012. I can't say I have any specific recollections of him as General Counsel or Senior Vice President.
Met him at a few athletic events including a bowl game trip if I recall correctly while he was at RU.
Was very gracious to speak to a group of NJ Higher Ed HR types when I was programing for the organization.
I looked at the picture in the article and thought he had much darker hair when I knew him. We're all getting older of course but leading any college would age a person I suppose.

Especially during the last 4 years. The job was extremely challenging before, but became more challenging.
