This topic has come up in threads during the season. How often do the football rosters update player weight and height, and is there gamesmanship going on with these numbers?

ESPN's bio for Jalen Carter of UGA had him at 6'3" 300 lbs. That's from the 2022 UGA roster.

He weighed in at 323 lbs during workouts this past week, and he did not complete position drills.

Comically, ESPN said he was "9 pounds heavier." Their SEC bias, or fuzzy math?

Damn man- this kid is in a free fall. Usually your college bio has you bigger than your real weight and height. Very strange if they had him smaller.
Did do drills at the combine and couldnt finish them at pro day - and this kid had a shot at being the number 1 pick just a short while ago

Wasn’t it a running gag on here that someone was able to estimate a player’s weight from their bio picture?

Hts and wts are often just copied over from previous media guides and that includes the NFL. They are never accurate

He was 9 pounds heavier than he weighed at the NFL combine. No SEC bias or fuzzy math.
