It was reported by the Philly Inquirer that on September 7th that Rutgers is in talks to host Millville coached by Rutgers alum Dennis Thomas vs St.Joseph of Hammonton where former Rutgers LB Kaiwan Lewis is currently on the staff. This is the first time I can remember two South Jersey teams going head to head on campus. Millville features 2020 RU athlete offer Solomon Deshields while the South Jersey Non Public power feature mutliple prospects getting looks from the Scarlet Knights with 2019 DT's Sean Morris and Wizdom Quarshie

I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the first of many games on the campus that day. The Inquirer reported earlier this year about the agreement between the Philly Catholic League and Big North League in Northern NJ. Per the article these games may also be played at Rutgers on September 7th St. Joe’s Prep vs. St. Peter’s Prep; Gonzaga vs. Don Bosco Prep (N.J.); Bergen vs. Archbishop Wood; West Catholic vs. Hudson Catholic (N.J.); and Imhotep vs. St. Joseph Regional (N.J.). Mutliple Rutgers targets would be in action.

Director of High School relations Rick Mantz has been the point man in coordinating these events. He opened up the doors for the Philly Catholic League and Big North schools to host their meetings when developing the agreement on the Rutgers campus.
