Michigan as a "bye?" What does that even mean? They get to play against one of the play-in teams?
It means they would be in the field and their first game is in the round of 64
Play in teams play each other to get in.
Last 4 byes are the last 4 teams that make the field without having to “play in”
So...they're in the field. Okay thanks. He probably could just say "in the field of 64" lol!
It’s the common terminology for all bracketologists.
