Towards the end of the first overtime . He hits that huge 3 to go up 2 points . If we get a stop and win, that shot goes down as one of the biggest shots in rutgers history. Instead Notre dame guy beats (not sure, think caleb) to hit layup at buzzer to force another OT. We should have hacked that guy and made him hit two pressure packed free throws.

Other memorable moments include the huge game at northwestern in 22. We lost , but that was the best game he played.

The ejection at Indiana when he got into it with Johnson . That almost cost us the game and a tourney bid .

The trip

He was a solid player for us and seemed like a good dude off the court. . But he’s breaking up with us. This is “college” sports.

Based on the teams that are reaching out to Paul, some of the yardbirds here will be eating crow.

The greatest shot was after he threw away yet another the inbounds pass. If the PG can just make an inbound pass the game is over and no need to hit a huge shot.

NW and that stretch he was absolutely amazing for 6 games. Unfortunately in 4 years a 6-7 game stretch and a few other good games does not make a great player.

Too much dribbling and too many passed up open looks.

Good luck I hope he puts it together and has success

For such a good passer with great vision and size, Paul is a surprisingly poor inbounder. He hesitated way too much. Have to be decisive as an inbounder
Absolutely terrible and equally bad at throwing a pass into the post.

Yes. But doesn’t change the fact if we get a stop it’s one of the biggest shots in rutgers history . Right ?
Why is winning a meaningless tournament game one of the biggest Rutgers shots in our history?

It’s not because we didn’t win . A game winner in an ncaa tournament game would obviously be one of this biggest shots ever for rutgers

Geo/Ron/Cliff made him look like a stud his junior year. Legit thought he’d improve this year. He didn’t. Good riddance Benedict Arnold.

He was a key part of some of the best and strangest moments/performances in program history. I think that’s a fair evaluation.

NW (and that several game stretch) and MSU were outstanding. Coming back from what seemed like pretty severe injuries after 0-1 games missed. Lobs to Cliff to open the game that somehow always worked. The corner 3s 2 years ago.

The trip, too frequent poor inbounding, the IU scuffle in the tournament year, Minny ending and the surrounding games were all lowlights.

Hopefully he goes somewhere with a lot of offensive talent to complement his strengths and mask his limitations, and with that hopefully he finds what he’s looking for.
