Congrats to Nick for winning the non-public A South shot put today with a throw of 60'4.75. He also took second in the discus, throwing 177-8. Good job, and nice throwing for a Junior!

Congrats Nick, those are great numbers! The numbers suggest he is quite athletic. Good luck at State Groups next weekend Nick.

Good luck to Nick this Fri-Sat. Here is a blurb from State Group Championship preview:

3-FLYING SAUCERS: Sean Brennan of Union Catholic, Andrew Liskowitz of CBA, and Nick Krimin of St. Joseph (Met.) both have a good chance of taking down the 44-year-old Non-Public A discus record of 177-8, which was set in 1971 by Bob Paeducci of Roselle Catholic.
Liskowitz hit 183-10 in dual meet in April. Brennan threw 182-2 to win last week with Krimin second with a 177-8.
Krimin, Brennan and Liskowitz are also the top 3 seeds in the shot put. Krimin threw a NJ #2 60-4 3/4 last week to earn the top seed..

Also here is a blurb from the Group 3:

2. Decathlon training: Montville’s Leah Wis—one of the most entertaining athletes to watch in the state —will be in action at Frank Jost Field. The junior multi-event star will be in the mix in four events: the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, discus and javelin and could end up being one of the highest-scoring athletes in the state for the second weekend in a row.
