Mr Hobbs, we need a capital plan to make significant improvements to Lax, Soccer and Baseball facilities M and W. To keep the ball rolling and making recruiting easier. Fans are starting to get behind these programs and others. Let’s not be the laggard in B1G facilities.

We are getting there. Just missing the lacrosse only stadium. Ironic since Yurcak was a lax player. I know we need a stadium and we are going to get one but man, I love the success we have had in SHI. That place is magic for us. We have some massive wins in there.

Last week's Team of the Week, Richmond, is currently getting whooped by Jacksonville. The ACC looks worse as a result. Hopkins up 3-2 on OSU in the battle for 3rd place in the B1G.

ND up 3-1 on Duke. This is too rich. Unlike most years where beating each other up helps the ACC, this year it hurts it big time.

Hopefully Metrics matter

The committee has always been very high on RPI. It's why we didn't make the tourney in 16 and 17 when we were clearly deserving otherwise.

They aren't going back on it now. Acc is taking RPI hits after Sarah losing to Albany and Richmond beating UVa then losing to Jacksonville.

Doesn't make a difference for us. Just win baby.

Barn burner at the Horseshoe. 9-9 OSU and JHU with 13 minutes left.

OSU and Hopkins tied 7-7. Penn up 4-0 on Brown. ND still up on Duke, 7-3.

This game is being played at the pace that Hopkins wants and they've backed in on D. OSU NEEDS this game, although the win over ND is becoming more and more important.

And OSU finishes off Hopkins, 12-10. Barring shenanigans, the Top 3 in the B1G Tourney will be Maryland, Rutgers and OSU. Hopkins/Michigan/PSU will battle for 4th.

OSU's lax only stadium is opening next season.
That is amazing. When I was in grad school out there, no one even knew what lax was and most Ohio high schools didn't play soccer. Of course, that was a long time ago but it does show how some sports, also including crew (rowing) have become much more national at the collegiate level.

OSU has had a team for quite a while. Played in a tourney sponsored by UNC and Duke in '75 where they were one of the teams. Most of the players were out-of-state. The few HS programs out there at that time were nearby Columbus.

With Penn losing and a good chance that Harvard loses badly, that has to help OSU and may also be helping the ACC get a second and possibly a third team in the tourney.
