OT. iPad APP recommendations for kids

I have a few kids. All boys. 4-6 years old. Lots of these iPad apps bait you into "buying" extras and such which ticks me off. Any ideas? They love Star Wars, Legos, and superheroes. Of course some educational stuff too. I don't mind buying a few games if I know that's where the spending will end.

Ps I am pretty good at parenting I don't need a lecture about why they should be playing stick ball and not their iPads :)

If they were just a bit older there are some great board games like Ticket to Ride available

youtube just released a kids app for ios and android last month. that should be a start.

There is no getting around it. Even paid apps have pop ups or try to get the kids to buy up to the next level. Have a password they don't know and you'll be fine
