OT: Let's Go!

Another reunion tour we didn't need - can't say I would pay to see any of the bands on that list, but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla...

Scott Stapp finally escaped his own prison? Surprised that Mark Tremonti is on board- he has been enormously prolific, making great music with Tremonti, Alter Bridge and his Sinatra covers. Will be good to hear some of the old hits.

Stapp made a splash last week.

there is money to be made and that is an attractive tour lineup given the drek of new music today. Sometimes you step back 10-15 years and you can regain your popularity. Look at Steve Nicks. She was headed to has been status in the mid 90s. Madonna now making a comeback. No Creed isnt on the level of either but there is certainly a spot for them as an attractive tour than maybe a group like Limp Bizcuit

As for Creed, yes that 2nd release was generally drek but that first cd was fire. My Own Prison, Torn, One. Those are great rock songs.

Comparing Creed to Limp Bizkit is absolute slander against Limp Bizkit.

Creed had like 2 hits, 3 Doors Down Kryptonite, Finger 11 some smaller ones on rock stations. If PNC had their $20 deal and I was dts on a weekday I'd consider. Otherwise these acts were not close to the major artists of that era (Limp Bizkit, Korn, 311, Incubus, the Killers, Linkin Park)

This thread is aging about as well as the bands on that tour
IDK. Creed, especially My Own Prison, was ubiquitous in the 1990's and into the 2000's.

Three Doors Down had hits with Kryptonite and Loser.

Tonic had a couple of decent songs too- If You Could Only See. Packaged nostalgia act tours are doing a good business. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I may actually want to check out this show if my kid can get me free tickets to PNC where he works.

Suggesting you might consider going if offered free tickets, pretty much says it all.

I mean...they're not at the top of my "wish list"....but I'd go see them at PNC for sure….so long as I don’t have other plans already. Should be TONS of hot 35to 45-year old single and recently divorced ladies there, as well, so yipeeeee!
