"Pay for play" it's an interesting topic to me. We want the games professionally broadcast and are upset if the announcer or production is low quality, We want written analysis online and on television, we want quality venues and concessions when we view games live. We never asked or complained about any of this professional fan experience. It is much more difficult to watch and find analysis on truly amateur athletics. Don't know if William paterson has a rivals or 247. All of those things are available to us as fans because people make them available in order to get paid and earn a living. Players are getting nil and the same people are still getting paid the same amounts. Is it that we as fans are just used to things being a certain way and are now upset that things aren't the way we are used to them being? Not to mention it's been no secret that big time players have been getting paid under the table forever. Maybe it's that it's out in the open now and discussed, turns you off to hear that it's going to take 500k for xyz kid to come to Rutgers? For some reason, we have posters who think coaching salaries and movement is justification for pay for play.
