We’ve all been there, it’s human nature. For all of us who’ve suffered through injuries, you injure other body parts overcompensating for the originally injured part. For those of us that golf, if you push a drive right it sure seems your next drive will be an overcooked hook as you overcorrect or overcompensate.
Last year Coach Pike learned you can’t win with defense alone. FOR ALL THE HATERS I will say I trust him and the staff this year, to be able to teach HSers and the transfer scoring threats defense. I trust they’re evaluating their portal picks for how they’ll play d too. It’s just something you consider. Internal checks that you don’t overcompensate. In my opinion you want a good rim defender and rebounder, but who can score. You don’t want an elite rim defender that can’t. Balance. I commend and am glad the staff didn’t pursue Cohen from UMass for the reasons mentioned above. I’m excited to see who they get. Your guys’ thoughts?
