As reported by NJ Advance Media, Christie also said the state "has not been asked to have any participation in" a plan for a new or upgraded basketball facility.
That's because a plan has not yet been developed, Miranda said.
"The only time that we would turn to the state for input or assistance would be after a plan has been developed," Miranda said
