Did my best to piece this together. I did this mainly to try and get in the head of the coaching staff to see what the personnel decisions could indicate about where they are in the evaluation process.
I am unsure there is a conclusion to that end, but, if there’s an argument to be made it’s that Athan had the only 2 deep WR and went against a significantly worse set of DBs - if the old spring game format of 1s vs 2s is an indication of what informed this roster selection, it would lend toward Athan in the lead and being set up in this game to flourish.
