This week, I went back to Anthony Davis' first start at Rutgers. It came during game No.6 of his freshman year. Davis also came into camp about 40 pounds overweight and was the slowest player on the team at that point when it came to running gassers at the end of practice. Schiano and company did a good job of getting Davis in playing shape and in this article Schiano even credits Flood for Davis' progress. Here is a look back to Oct 17, 2007.
