Grambling - Montana State headed to overtime in the First Four

This is what March Madness should be about. Not roster construction and the portal.
Yup. Ridiculous it can't wait a couple weeks.

I already have portal fatigue. Not so much our guys leaving, but just knowing there's gonna be hundreds of kids in the portal as teams get eliminated the next couple weeks.

So ready for my bracket to be in absolute disarray by Thursday night.

Awesome game. Very well played. Whoever wins it'll be their school's first ever NCAA tournament win

Grambling wins. On to Purdue in Indy

Colorado - Boise should be a good one

St.Joe's freshman center had better offensive skills than Cliff.

Boise coach looks like he could be Jerry Recco's older brother

Colorado and Boise combine for 5 assists in that first half

So basically, Colorado St vs Seton Hall and Indiana St vs Pitt or Oklahoma would have been more entertaining than what we got these first 2 play in 10 seed games.

I was at Princeton UNLV game tonight.

I was very impressed with UNLV

King Rice and his assistant Rick Callahan were at the game.

I went over / said hi and advised them to go after Derek Simpson.

Got a little wink from Coach Callahan. Lol.

Spoke to the UNLV AD who told me even as lower seed - they will host BC in next round.

Lon Kruger son coaches UNLV.

And an only at Princeton thing : the PA Announcer calls each of the Coaches by MR.

Nova lost? Big East did well. Nova was not that good this year.

Only Shu left of bigeast teams in nit

It's the best of both worlds.

  • If the teams that got in falter thr "snubs" get to say: "See!! They didn't deserve to get in!"
  • If the teams that got in win - the "snubs" get to say: "We could have done that too but we didnt get chance."

  • If the "snubs" win in the NIT: "See! We're good!"
  • If the "snubs" lose in the NIT: "We weren't mentally interested in the game. It doesn't matter."

Nobody ever considers:
  • The snubs could have also lost in the NCAA (maybe even worse)
  • The snubs lost in the NIT because they aren't good and the Committee was right.
