Why have i started getting emails everytime someone replies to a thread i posted in?

This is why you don't use your real email for any forum. Just one day of that would mean I could never look at my inbox the same again.

Like the OP, I got an email reply when I posted yesterday.

for some reason, the e-mail goes straight to spam: do not pass GO, do not collect $200.

You have to change the settings for emails not alerts. Two different things.
