I’m really excited about our receivers this year. For the first time in a while, we a lot of I pert classmen receivers. I’m excited about Brantley and Miller. They were both FCS All Americans. FCS All American wide receivers are sometimes drafted and at worse UDFA in camp. Brantley actually played well even when they went against better competition Miller was without a doubt the best FCS WR in the country. Dremel is awesome and I think he’ll be even better as a slot option instead of a #1 option. But Dremel doesn’t get the respect he deserves, he’s a baller and no not just for Rutgers. He’s objectively good.
Ian Strong flashed last year and will only get better. He looks the part. Long was injured but he flashed in the past and was an unbelievable high school receiver.
Whether it’s Athan or Gavin, I think that we may have a respectable receiving core. Hopefully we have a QB that can just get the ball there.
