>Perkins is a 6’3″ multi-positional player who completed her first two scholastic seasons at prep powerhouse St. Pius X in Atlanta, Georgia. Per MaxPreps, she averaged 19.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, 2.3 assists and 1.o steal in 21 games as a freshman. In 32 games as a sophomore. she averaged 23.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 4.2 blocks, 3.o assists, and 1.3 steals.
This past year, Perkins moved home and played for Summer Creek in Houston. She earned All-State honors in the 6A Region, which is where the largest schools in Texas play. Her team went 35-5 and were district champs. She also plays for the CyFair Elite 17 on the EYBL circuit.<
