"‪Just getting ready...‬"

Good lookin shot and form. Still brings the ball a bit low, but I think I saw other videos of him working on that. Still though, a very NICE shot overall, and I believe, he will have the highest 3pt FG % on the team this year. I am sure he will get a LOT of open looks. Especially, early in the year against OOC.

His release point is high, actually very high. I have seen videos of Geo and his high release reminded me somewhat of Reggie Miller. (Not that I am comparing the two as players).

MadRU - I never said his release wasn’t high. I said he brings the ball too low (meaning when he initiates his shooting motion). The ball should go no lower than stomach basically upon initiating a shot. Best would be chest, but not expecting that from him now.

Hope that makes sense!

I just looked it over again, and I paused it a few different times. I actually think the video fooled me. Lol. It looks like he brings the ball to about stomach level. Good stuff!

Yes, you were talking load point not release, gotcha. Seen him shoot on the move and he is fine.

Now Geoff Billet had a low load point, especially after he changed his form.

Omg. Yes, Geoff’s shot was awkward. But it went in. Lots of memories playing against him on college ave gym! The good ‘ole days!

Geoff altered his shot, can't recall if it was before his Junior or Senior year, but he added a big hitch. But like you said, it went in.

Bringing the ball down low on the catch is called dipping, and all the best shooters in the nba do it, including steph curry. No one catches the ball and and shoots right from where they catch it.

see him do it right here
