The bottom of the league is pretty fluid. In order for us to stay out of the bottom 3, and miss the BE tournament, we have to win the USC and Minn. games. Ironically, I would usually be a lot more confident of this since they are pretty much as bad as us (currently both are 6-9) but we have that extra loss which puts us below them in the standings. Both are home games. Remember when we were pretty much golden at home???? Anyway, although we have been pretty decent on the road, I don't see us taking down either Mich. or Purdue.
So, we have our own destiny in our hands by having the opportunity to take out two of our nearest competitors still on our schedule. The last 2 spots appear to be pretty solid with PSU and Wash. with only 4 wins. Looking at the remaining schedules for USC and Minn., I would say USC only has one good chance of a win against Wash. with Minn. looking at two with PSU and NW.
If this team blows this, it would put the finishing touches on one of the programs worst ever seasons. Hard to believe with how this all started.
