2015 Wrestle-off Matchups Solidified October 24 @ 11am

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The matchups for the Rutgers wrestling team’s 2015 wrestle-offs, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the College Ave. Gym, have been established.

In total, 13 exhibition matches will be wrestled. The match order will be selected at random the day of wrestle-offs.

Without Camp at 197, don't we risk wearing out Hrymack at 197 when we tri-meets? Or do we have someone who can step up every once in a while. Normandia is not an option, is he? We'll need a reserve at 285 for Smith for the same reason

Couldn't make the wrestle-off, but I couldn't imagine how Normandia could put on good weight on that small frame. He looked like he could drop to 184 last year.

The day revealed a promising preview of a team getting better as we see. Gentile is the real deal as is Tichie Lewis. Perrotti looked strong at 165. Kremiller was a good find for the future. Del and Girardo are top shelf.

That is a pretty solid lineup although 184, 197 and to a lesser extent 125 will likely struggle against B1G competition.

I actually have decent expectations for McCabe this year. He really came on toward the end of last year, and staff has said he's been workin his ass off.

If Gravina's shoulder holds up he will make some noise as will Hrymack

McCabe was definitely a better wrestler towards the end of the year. Would be nice to see him continue that this year.

Why did he workout all preseason? Was is the fact that he would have to start cutting weight and didn't want to do it?

Can somebody explain to me why college doesn't have a 225lb weight class? Why not balance the weights out better?

Very simple answer, Title IX. It almost killed the sport entirely and succeeded in killing it at most schools.
