The stats that really matter to some on this board are the zip on the ball, and how much arc on the ball and how many completions beyond 30 yards.

I wonder if you're trying to be a bit snarky with this post, but for high school kids, those things do matter in terms of being able to translate success at each next level (depending on the type of pass thrown). Whether or not Russo or Guarantano or Haskins threw touchdowns against Joe Shmoe high school cornerback isn't as meaningful.
 
Russo is putting up great numbers and I'm glad he's our guy. However, his competition is not on the same level as Bosco, DePaul, PC etc. I think this is yet another reason they haven't bumped him to a 4 star. But who care. Glad he's doing great this season and is healthy.

That's why a redshirt year would be best for him and with Chris and Hayden only Juniors next year , redshirting Anthony will probably happen.
Russo will still have to contend with Dare and Gio when the time comes for him to fight for the starting position.
