Nice work - wonder how int's are (wasn't that JG biggest problem) and completion precentage are

Pretty nice showing by Guarantano considering he was under pressure by Rashan Gary. Wonder if he will stick to his commitment if Butch Jones is fired.
Lots of buzz about his seat getting hot:

Approaching the midway point of his third season at UT, Jones is 14-16 overall and 5-13 against SEC competition. With games against Georgia and Alabama upcoming, the Vols are staring 2-5 in the face.

If you are going to Google Butch Jones, make sure you use the word Tennessee too. A Google search of "Butch Jones" gives this at the third hit:

Read Tweet that JG was injured, season ending. Hope Butch sticks with him, seriously.

Yup foot injury. Done for the season. That's 2 seasons in a row done by mid October.

So- I think it should be safe to say that Russo has about a 90% shot of being a 4 star by the next Rivals ranking...And it is starting to look like that may even be underrated

Wasn't the knock on Russo that he was supposedly a guy who could perform in camps, but didn't play at the same level in games?? Seems like he is having a great year. I won't hold my breath for him getting his 4th star, but can't say I really care either way.

Your Google search results are tailored to you based on previous searches and web sites you went to...
 :scream:. Very witty. Repeated the same search a few minutes ago, and those sites did not come up at all.. I am afraid to do that search on my home computer. :flush:

Russo will light it up at Rutgers....provided Coach Flood doesn't inexplicably play the back up as the starter.

Why do we care what Haskins and JG are doing?

Because believe it or not, there are still people on this board that think Rutgers settled for Russo when we've been told that wasn't the case. His resume last year doesn't matter, his performance in the Elite 11 doesn't matter, his stats this year (v. the other two) don't matter. As long as he's missing the stars and rankings he's 3rd in this group.

I will statistically rub it in people's faces that Russo is the real deal, star rankings be damned.

Actually, just human nature anyway.

But could you imagine in Russo was having a so so year and Haskins and JG were destroying his stats and results?

Okay, whatever floats your boat, but neither JG nor Haskins were coming here to play for Flood, so, it's not like we "settled," he was just next in line, but I get where you're coming from I guess. Luckily "next in line" COULD turn out to be "the guy" here OTB.

You are so right, the gloom and doom crowd would be bringing this up every day if Russo was having a bad year.

I'm not sure you can say he was "next in line." He obviously didn't commit until shortly after Haskins committed elsewhere, but I think it is generally thought that Russo held a committable offer at the same time as Haskins and JG.

You're right, my bad, should have worded it differently.

I'm not sure the "for Flood" comment had to be in there. Haskins committed to a program with HCRE.
Both of the QB's actually like Flood a lot.

I'm still interested in the whereabouts of Steven Duncan - the QB from SC that we picked Russo over. At 6'5 230 he possess a complete skill set at the QB position. No doubt in my mind he's better than Russo and Guarantano. He's probably gonna end up at a Mac school, and that Mac school will be pretty formidable

thanks for posting this. I appreciate seeing how the other guys are stacking up.
As for the thoughts about JC not staying with his commit based on the status of the HC, the same can probably be said for Russo too.
