At last nights RU vs Ohio St Hoops game - Clark Harris' 3 year old son does a nice job:
TRENT HARRIS PERFORMANCE
TRENT HARRIS PERFORMANCE
Thanks for the reminder on the words, I'm sure nobody would have got that otherwise. GeeshI was at the game and the place erupted after he sang, including tOSU fans. It was almost impossible not to laugh and smile while he was singing because of his three-year-old enunciation (Oh da laaand of da fweeee, and da home, of da, bwaaaave; also, And the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly screaming...[not streaming]). It was about as priceless a moment as there can be in life, no exaggeration. Even after the singing the players were looking around and laughing as they walked to the bench to get ready for the introductions.
Anyone with comments on how it sounded and looked on TV?
My sarcasm meter isn't sure about your intent, but I'll assume it's upstanding and will say this: The funny part about "screaming" was that it totally makes sense in context, and while we were at the game taking in the whole "moment" while he was singing, it kept getting more and more perfect as he went along. I never take my eyes off the flag while the anthem is being sung, but that habit was broken yesterday at least three times when I looked over at the kid. I also never smile while the anthem is being sung, and that was broken within ten seconds and continued throughout the whole song for me. And for just about everyone else. Thanks for the reminder on the words, I'm sure nobody would have got that otherwise. Geesh
I applauded from home with the rest of the RAC.[thumb2]At last nights RU vs Ohio St Hoops game - Clark Harris' 3 year old son does a nice job:

Awesome. When you're at the game you never know what they're showing, and while he was singing I was hoping they hadn't cut away for a commercial prior to the tip-off.Sounded and looked GREAT.
it would be nice to have him sing it at a Football game this fall. (and when did we stop putting our hands over our hearts for the anthem?)
. There's always mom or a Bengals bye weekend!Might be tough for little Trent and his dad to get to NJ during the college football season since dad still has a job with the Bengals
Queen MrsScrew will pick him up and bring him to the field for the singing. She'll keep him on a tether this time around, just so he doesn't run into the huddle, as her "kids" are wont to do.Might be tough for little Trent and his dad to get to NJ during the college football season since dad still has a job with the Bengals
