49'ers hire Chip Kelly

I believe Head Coach only - not making as many stupid personnel decisions as he did in Philly. I believe USC or Texas would have been the best fit for him. Does he try to draft a QB or maybe go after a RGIII, who may actually fit his system?

wow if I am Colin I have to be pretty pumped at the possibilities...
will be interesting out here again, and with Raiders on brink of being good again with Carr (who I wanted Jets to draft) and Cooper...

OK so this Kelly will be out of the college picture for the next 2+ years -

Great hire for them. Coaches are typically better the second go around. Kapernik is the perfect QB for his offense.

Why would he take a job with the 49'ers? They're almost as unstable as Tampa Bay or Cleveland.

He'll do great if he:
1.) Rediscovers that a mobile QB makes his offense go
2.) Leaves the personnel decisions to someone else
3.) Less emphasis on #culture -- you need playmakers at this level
4.) #relationships > #culture -- don't be a pompous prince: These are men you are dealing with, not kids

Honestly, as an Eagles fan I'm pissed. I'm pretty sure he's learned his lessons and is ready for greatness.

And he left our franchise in a much worse place than when he got here.

I agree ... His worst attribute (viewing from the outside) is that he's a dick.

Wonder how this impacts Anthony Davis' thoughts on a return (which I think he hinted at on social media)...if he actually wanted to return and if the 49ers were going to sign him.
