Great to see our players back! Would be too much to ask to send them an email that Rutgers colors are Red and not orange or even Maroon which was our opponent ! Lolp

Anyone know where there's a list of former players at the game? Nothing on scarletknights.com that I could find.

John McFadden first row all the way on the right?

Should have had a halftime game of 4 on 4 each end lol.
And a pre game meet and great...

How is it that I was able to ensure my 13 year old wore red, not maroon, and so few of these bananas can bother to wear the school color?

There were at least 6 guys of the 12 from our Final Four team of 1975-1976. Mark Conlin, Steve Hefele, Mike Dabany, Bruce Scherer, Stan Nance and Mike Palko who sits directly behind me at every game. Phil Sellers, Eddie Jordan, Hollis Copeland, Abdel Anderson, James Bailey and Jeff Kleinbaum I think were not there. All 12 were there in 2016 for the 40th Anniversary gathering plus all of the coaches.

It’s actually not funny. It’s pretty pathetic if you ask me. You’re coming back to be recognized and you can’t wear Scarlet? Awful.

At the RU-PSU game the most prominent booster wasn't wearing red as he sat courtside... wasn't white or black either.

Listen I get that sometimes you have to come from an event where you might not have your school color on - although it doesn’t seem to happen at most other schools at least B10 ones - but that picture is mind-boggling.

it seems like Rutgers fans are the only ones who work in the country....or they just like to use that reason as to why they arent wearing red to games or getting there before the 15 minute mark of the first half

There was a reason he was known as Load Moore lol.

That's funny. When I heard that Lloyd Moore had transferred to RU from Marquette, I was pretty excited about it because I knew how great a player Moore was in high school. (6'9" 5-star All-American, 30ppg,17rpg)... My brother was a pretty good HS player in Western PA at the same time as Lloyd. When I told my brother that we (RU) just got Lloyd Moore, he immediately started chuckling and said "Lloyd Moore? I played against him. He's a load!", and he explained that Lloyd was pretty chubby and probably wasn't going to be the All-American caliber center for Rutgers that I was hoping for..

I guess the inability to control his weight (and possibly an early college knee injury also), kept Lloyd Moore from becoming the elite collegiate player that a lot of people thought he'd become. He was later dismissed from the Rutgers team, supposedly because of weight issues.
