Big town rivalry game, plus see RU commit Tyler Hayek and his brother, plus QB/LB Brendan Devera (walk on prospect?) not to mention Evidence Njoku who bolted from my town of Cedar Grove (hearing he he didn't really live here either). Hoping for the underdog Wayne Valley to win.

I want to see if Hayek is a real D1 player, which I'm not sold on yet , and if Njoku is anywhere near good as his older bro David. I also want to see Brendan Devera , who I think is tough as nails, that D1 programs aren't sure where to play him.

Wayne Valley up 17-7 at half. Wayne Hills w an odd game plan in first half, using their small running back instead of their pair of 6'4" D1 WR prospects.

Feel bad for the WV kid who fumbled it out of the endzone to lose the game but as a WH alum I'm happy they came back and won.

That 4th down conversion in OT was insane.

I was only able to watch a little bit of the game but I don't think I saw Hayek do anything except drop a pass, which isn't what you would expect from a legit D1/B1G prospect. He should be dominating in games like this.

Tyler Hayek had 2 big catches, one being a 40 yard catch and run for a TD, he also had 2 pass break ups as a DB that I noticed. I did see that one drop you mentioned , but it wasn't an easy ball to catch. He was quiet in the first half, came on in the 2nd. Njoku did nothing much.

Like I said, I didn't see much but from the few offensive possessions i did see he didn't make any plays. I guess I just missed them, ha.

And I agree on the drop, it wasn't a very good throw.
