Saw somewhere that Auburn, Ohio State, and Houston won 4 more games than the year before the 1st year they went to the spread. SMU was the only exception but even they won 1 more game. I would link it but I forgot where I saw it.
Obviously going to the spread wasn't the only factor but it shows how difficult it is to defend.

i actually spent about 20 minutes yesterday looking at the schedule and i think 8-4 is quite possible with a possible 9th at a bowl(obviously that depends on who we are playing)

I'm blocking out my calendar for a bowl game in late December.

I really hope it's in a warm southern climate.
